Sports Car racing has made a resurgence on the international motorsports scene with the inaugural season of the Le Mans Endurance Championship. The five-race series capitalizes upon the glamour and prestige of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, held in the French countryside each June. The new series has reinvigorated European sports car fans by recapturing the glory days of the sport.
